APPLICATION – Evans Classic Cool 180°
Classic Cool 180° is ideal for classic vehicles with cast iron or steel engine blocks and for older generations of cooling systems without modern alloys. The product is particularly suitable for classic cars prone to overheating or corrosion, vehicles that are parked for extended periods, such as in museums or collections, and engines that exhibit problems with water-based coolants.
Important: The cooling system must first be thoroughly flushed with Evans Prep Fluid. Classic Cool 180° should not be mixed with water or other coolants. When used correctly, this coolant provides lifetime protection.
The coolant contains the patented DeTox™ formula and has been classified as nontoxic by an EPA-certified laboratory. Classic Cool 180° is known from programs like Wheeler Dealers on the Discovery Channel and Jay Leno's Garage , where Jay Leno uses Evans coolants in all his cars.

Description
Evans Classic Cool 180° is a completely waterless coolant, specially developed for classic vehicles with traditional engine configurations (primarily cast iron and steel). Thanks to its unique formulation, this coolant protects from -40°C to +180°C, without the typical problems of water-based coolants such as corrosion, overheating, cavitation, or high system pressure.
Classic Cool 180° provides lifetime protection and—once installed correctly—never needs to be replaced.
Always use Evans Prep Fluid to flush the old cooling system before switching to this waterless coolant.
Advantages
No water = no overheating
Boiling point of 180°C → does not boil over like classic coolants
Higher thermal stability, ideal for heavy loads
No water = no corrosion
Water contains oxygen → oxygen causes rust
Due to the absence of water, corrosion, oxidation and limescale deposits are completely avoided
Lower pressure level in the cooling system
Runs at lower pressure, putting less stress on hoses, gaskets and clamps
No water = less cavitation and pitting
Extends the life of water pumps and internal engine parts
Protection against detonation by heat
Fewer hotspots
Lower engine temperatures
Better ignition and higher reliability
Lifespan
Lifetime durability — no periodic replacement required
