APPLICATION – Evans Vintage Cool 180°
Use Vintage Cool 180° for pre-war vehicles (pre-war classics) and engines containing high levels of copper, brass, and other porous metals. This coolant is particularly suitable for classic engines prone to corrosion or overpressure, and for cooling systems transitioning to a permanent, maintenance-free cooling solution.
Evans Vintage Cool 180° never needs replacing and provides lifetime protection when used correctly. The product contains the patented DeTox™ formula and is classified as non-toxic by an EPA-certified laboratory, making it safe to use and store.

Description
Evans Vintage Cool 180° is a 100% waterless coolant specifically designed for pre-war vehicles and engines containing high levels of yellow metals and porous alloys. Its unique formula provides exceptional protection from -40°C to +180°C, without the risk of corrosion, overheating, or pitting—problems common with water-based coolants.
For optimal performance, the cooling system should first be flushed with Evans Prep Fluid.
Advantages
No overheating – boiling point 180°C
Without water, the coolant cannot boil or overheat. The temperature remains stable, even with intensive use.
No corrosion – water is the cause of rust
Water contains oxygen and causes corrosion. Because Evans does not contain water, rust is completely eliminated.
Lower system pressure
Vintage Cool 180° operates at a much lower pressure than regular coolants.
→ Less stress on hoses, seals, radiator and water pump.
No pitting (cavitation damage)
Water causes small explosions against the metal surface. Evans prevents this completely.
Better performance and less detonation
Lower operating temperatures and stable cooling reduce the risk of knocking and premature detonation.
→ The engine delivers more power and runs much more consistently.
