APPLICATION – Classic Running-In Oil 30
Classic Running-In Oil 30 is recommended for the initial run of completely or partially rebuilt engines and is ideal for running-in procedures performed on public roads or test benches.
This oil supports a controlled wear cycle, so that the piston rings can wear in correctly and the engine can run in optimally.
Classic Running-In Oil 30 is suitable for classic petrol and diesel engines for which an SAE 30 viscosity is specified.
Instructions for use
- Fill the engine with Running-In Oil 30 after overhaul.
- Run the engine under higher torque loads to promote maximum ring sealing.
- Drain after approximately 500 to a maximum of 1000 km or after completion of the running-in procedure.
- Replace with a suitable Millers Classic motor oil (without replacing the filter if desired).
Proper running-in extends the life of the engine and prevents increased oil consumption.
Description
Millers Oils Classic Running-In Oil 30 is a high-quality mineral running-in oil, specially developed for recently reconditioned classic engines. The formulation is designed to create an optimal seal between the piston rings and cylinder wall, which is essential for performance, reliability, and fuel efficiency.
This SAE 30 break-in oil contains refined mineral base oils and carefully formulated additives that support the break-in process without over-lubricating the piston rings, thus ensuring proper bedding.
Advantages
Designed to prevent problems with reconditioned engines that have difficulty bedded in correctly.
Protects valves and highly loaded components , while piston rings can wear in in a controlled manner.
Promotes optimum performance and improved compression of a reconditioned engine.
Reduces oil leakage by ± 4% after complete running-in.
Suitable for both petrol and diesel engines.
