APPLICATION – Classic Gear ZC 90
Classic Gear ZC 90 is suitable for light to medium-duty manual transmissions and other gears that require an SAE 90 single-grade transmission oil with mild EP performance. The oil is intended for applications according to API GL-3 and is ideally suited for classic transmissions with yellow metal components such as copper, bronze, and brass. In addition, Classic Gear ZC 90 is the right choice for classic Alfa Romeo, Fiat, and Lancia transmissions where OlioFiat ZC 90 is prescribed.
Not suitable for hypoid differentials or applications that require a GL-4 or GL-5 transmission oil.
Description
Classic Gear ZC 90 is a high-quality mineral SAE 90 monograde transmission oil with mild EP additives, specifically developed for classic manual transmissions and gears. Modern transmission oils are often thinner and contain more aggressive additives, making them less suitable for older transmissions with classic materials.
With its Classic Oils line, Kroon-Oil offers lubricants perfectly tailored to classic vehicles. Classic Gear ZC 90 combines high-quality mineral base oils with mild EP additives, making the oil safe for yellow metals such as copper, bronze, and brass, while also providing reliable protection under light to medium loads. This oil is historically correct for applications where API GL-3 or OlioFiat ZC 90 is prescribed.
