APPLICATION – Classic Pistoneeze 40
Classic Pistoneeze 40 is recommended for pre-war and classic vehicles requiring a monograde oil with detergent and dispersant additives.
This oil is ideal for cars from the 1940s to the 1960s that have a functioning oil filter, and for engines where the crankcase is known to be free of contamination and excessive sludge. It is also often used in applications where SAE 30 was originally recommended, but where a slightly thicker, more protective oil is desired.
Thanks to the mild cleaning action, internal contamination remains well controlled, without loosening aggressive sludge as with modern oils.
Description
Classic Pistoneeze 40 is a high-quality, monograde mineral motor oil specifically developed for classic vehicles equipped with an oil filter. It consists of carefully refined base oil combined with a detergent and dispersant additive package that helps control dirt and deposits. Thanks to its improved cold flow properties, this SAE 40 viscosity is an excellent alternative for vehicles originally specified with SAE 30, especially when additional protection is required.
