APPLICATION – Liquid Glaze Bust
Liquid Glaze Bust is ideal for newly built or reconditioned engines that haven't been properly broken in, as well as for engines with inadequate piston ring seals or where increased oil consumption is caused by incomplete ring sealing. The product is used in situations where the break-in process needs to be restarted without completely disassembling the engine.
Usage
Liquid Glaze Bust is used straight from the can, without mixing. Replace the existing engine oil with Liquid Glaze Bust and drive for a maximum of 300 km. During this period, it is important to regularly vary the engine speed, preferably around peak torque. The engine may be loaded, but avoid extreme loads. After use, the oil should be replaced with the correct Millers driving oil.
Operation
Liquid Glaze Bust forms a protective lubricating film around the valve train and bearings, while simultaneously allowing controlled wear between the piston rings and cylinder wall. This allows the piston rings to properly wear and seal again, without exposing critical engine components to excessive wear.
Warning
Do not use for more than 300 km (186 miles). Results may vary if underlying mechanical problems are present. Loading is permitted, but avoid prolonged heavy loading or idling.
Description
Millers Oils Liquid Glaze Bust is a specially developed engine oil treatment used to restore engine break-in when piston rings have not worn properly. The product provides temporary protection for critical engine components while re-promoting proper wear of rings and cylinder walls.
This makes Liquid Glaze Bust particularly suitable for engines that have not been run in correctly, have been loaded too lightly, or where the running-in process has been interrupted prematurely.
Advantages
The product restarts the bedding process without having to reopen the engine, saving time and money for the mechanic or engine builder. Liquid Glaze Bust protects the valve train, bearings, and other wear-sensitive components and helps the piston rings wear in correctly, resulting in improved compression and performance. It has been proven effective in engines that have been run in too lightly or have developed glassy cylinder walls.
