APPLICATION – Running-In Monograde 30
Running-In Monograde 30 is recommended for running in reconditioned classic petrol and diesel engines, both after a complete and partial overhaul. This oil is suitable for applications where an SAE 30 running-in oil is prescribed and ensures a controlled and correct bedding-in process of all moving engine parts.
Use:
After reconditioning, fill the engine with Running-In Monograde 30 and use this oil for approximately 1,000 km. During this period, it is important to vary driving style and load and to regularly approach maximum torque, without letting the engine run at high RPMs or under maximum load for extended periods. After the running-in period, Running-In Monograde 30 should be replaced with the prescribed engine oil for normal use.
Description
Running-In Monograde 30 is a special mineral monograde engine oil with SAE 30 viscosity, specifically developed for the correct and controlled running-in (break-in) of reconditioned classic internal combustion engines. Its formulation is designed to provide sufficient protection while simultaneously allowing the necessary controlled wear that is essential during the break-in phase.
This oil ensures that all moving parts of a reconditioned engine wear in quickly and correctly with each other. It promotes optimal sealing between piston rings and cylinder walls, resulting in an engine that, after break-in, consumes less oil, performs more efficiently, and has a longer lifespan.
Advantages
Running-In Monograde 30 guarantees a quick and correct running-in of all moving engine parts and offers reliable protection for the reconditioned engine during the critical break-in phase. Its special composition promotes optimal piston ring sealing, which contributes to lower future oil consumption. This leads to economical and efficient engine operation. Thanks to its historically and technically correct formulation, this oil is ideally suited for classic engine rebuilds.
