APPLICATION – Classic ATF A
Classic ATF A is suitable for automatic and semi-automatic transmissions of classic vehicles that require 'Friction Modified' ATF according to Type A / Suffix A. In addition, this ATF can be used in power steering systems of classic vehicles and in manual transmissions of, among others, classic Mercedes-Benz models for which the MB 236.2 specification is required.
Not suitable for modern automatic transmissions requiring Dexron II/III or later specifications.
Description
Classic ATF A is a high-quality mineral Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) with special friction modifiers, precisely tuned to the classic friction materials used by car manufacturers in automatic transmissions at the time. Modern ATFs have different friction characteristics and are therefore often insufficiently suitable for classic systems.
Thanks to first-class mineral base oils and carefully selected additives, Classic ATF A offers very stable viscosity, excellent oxidation stability, and extremely smooth shifting behavior. The formulation is fully compatible with classic seals and rubbers and has a very low pour point, ensuring reliable operation at various temperatures.
Advantages
Classic ATF A has a very high and stable viscosity index, ensuring consistent performance under various conditions. Its friction characteristics are precisely matched to classic friction materials, resulting in very smooth and comfortable shifting. Thanks to its very low pour point, it maintains reliable operation at cold temperatures, while its excellent oxidation stability contributes to a long oil life. Additionally, Classic ATF A provides good protection against corrosion and foaming and is completely safe for classic gaskets and rubbers.
