APPLICATION – Classic Gear LS 90
Classic Gear LS 90 is suitable for limited-slip differentials (LSD) of classic vehicles and for hypoid gears that require an SAE 90 GL-5 Limited Slip transmission oil. The oil can also be used in other transmissions where Limited Slip properties are required and is ideal for classic vehicles with high and shock loads in the drivetrain.
Do not use in transmissions or differentials that require a GL-1 or GL-4 oil.
Description
Classic Gear LS 90 is a high-quality mineral SAE 90 hypoid transmission oil with 'Limited Slip' properties, specially developed for classic vehicles with limited-slip differentials. Modern transmission oils are often thinner and less suitable for older drivetrains. The Kroon-Oil Classic Oils range is therefore fully attuned to the materials, tolerances and loads of classic vehicles.
Thanks to high-quality mineral base oils and carefully selected additives, Classic Gear LS 90 offers excellent lubrication and controlled friction in limited-slip differentials. This prevents shocks, rattling, and slip-stick behavior, while the oil simultaneously provides strong EP protection under heavy and shock loads. The formulation is safe for classic seals and rubbers and has excellent anti-foaming properties.
