APPLICATION – Classic ATF F
Classic ATF F is suitable for automatic and semi-automatic transmissions of classic vehicles that require a NON 'Friction Modified' ATF Type F. This ATF is applicable in various classic Ford models (USA & EU), classic vehicles from British Leyland Motor Corporation and Volvo, and in transmissions with Borg Warner automatic gearboxes. In addition, Classic ATF F can be used in power steering systems of classic vehicles.
Not suitable for transmissions requiring ATF Type A, Dexron or later specifications.
Description
Classic ATF F is a high-quality mineral Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) without friction modifiers, specially developed for classic automatic and semi-automatic transmissions that require ATF Type F. Modern ATFs contain friction modifiers and are therefore often insufficiently suitable for older transmissions with classic friction materials.
Thanks to high-quality mineral base oils and carefully selected additives, Classic ATF F offers very stable viscosity, excellent oxidation stability, and fast, accurate shifting with minimal slip. The formulation is fully compatible with classic seals and rubbers, has a very low pour point, and excellent anti-corrosion and anti-foaming properties.
Benefits
Classic ATF F is free of friction modifiers, which is essential for correct operation in Type F applications. The oil has a very high and stable viscosity index and ensures fast and precise shifting with minimal slip. Thanks to its very low pour point, operation remains reliable at cold temperatures, while excellent oxidation stability contributes to a long oil life. Furthermore, Classic ATF F offers good protection against corrosion and foaming and is completely safe for classic gaskets and rubbers.
