APPLICATION – Flushing Oil
Flushing Oil is suitable for petrol and diesel engines and is used with contaminated or old engine oil, for example when transitioning to a higher quality engine oil. The flushing oil is particularly effective in situations with condensation, coolant or fuel contamination, and in engines with white sludge or internal deposits.
Instructions for use:
Add Flushing Oil to the existing engine oil and let the engine idle for 20–30 minutes (preferably with a warm engine). Then drain the oil, replace the oil filter, and fill the engine with the recommended Kroon-Oil engine oil for normal use.
Do not use while driving – apply only when idling.
Description
Flushing Oil is a high-quality single-grade flushing oil, specially developed for effectively cleaning petrol and diesel engines before an oil change. Thanks to its carefully chosen viscosity, high-quality solvent-refined base oils, and powerful detergent and dispersant additives, Flushing Oil safely removes sludge, deposits, and contaminants from the lubrication system.
The formulation is effective at both low and higher temperatures while providing protection against wear, corrosion, and foaming. Flushing Oil is completely neutral towards (old) gaskets and seals, eliminating any risk of leaks. Furthermore, the oil is excellently miscible with mineral, semi-synthetic, and fully synthetic engine oils.
This flushing oil is ideal when switching from a lower to a higher oil quality, or when the engine oil is contaminated by condensation, coolant, fuel dilution, or white sludge.
Advantages
Flushing Oil has very strong detergent and dispersant properties and is effective at low temperatures. During flushing, the oil provides protection against wear and ensures excellent anti-corrosion and anti-foaming properties. Thanks to its high oxidation stability, its operation remains reliable, while the formulation is completely safe for old gaskets and seals. In addition, the oil absorbs moisture, neutralizes contamination, and is compatible with all common engine oils.
